This site is created exclusively on an an Apple MacBook Pro (Core 2 Duo) and a quad-core Mac Pro. From Nov. 13, 2000-Nov. 22, 2006, casabrian.com was served from Power Mac G3/G4 servers running WebSTAR. Today, the site runs on a Power Mac G4 running Mac OS X Server and Apache, via a 3-megabit dual-T1 line.

Software used includes BBEdit, FileMaker Pro, Photoshop CS2, GraphicConverter, Safari, and many custom AppleScripts to generate HTML.

Digital photography was shot on the following cameras: Olympus D-600L (1999), Sony DSC-S30/S50 (2000), Canon PowerShot G1 (2001-04), Canon PowerShot G3 (2002-04).

My primary camera now (since Dec. 2004) is the 8.2-megapixel Canon EOS 20D digital SLR.

Lenses used with the 20D include the Canon 28-105mm 3.5-4.5 II USM midrange zoom lens, the Canon 70-200mm 2.8L IS USM image-stabilized telephoto zoom lens, the Canon EF-S 10-22mm 3.5-4.5 USM wide-angle zoom lens, and the Canon 16-35mm 2.8L USM wide-angle zoom lens.

www.casabrian.com contains more than 10.9 gigabytes of content (as of 11/22/2006), including more than 24,000 images.

This web site has existed since the fall of 1995, but did not move into its own dedicated domain name until the spring of 2001. During the period for which web access logs exist and have been processed (Oct. 4, 1999 - November 22, 2006), casabrian.com has received more than 22 million hits (more than 2.6 million page views) from 483,052 unique hosts, having pumped out more than 718GB of data.

Monthly bandwidth usage can exceed 40GB/month.
